So senior year formally started today, but don't get too excited because I still have super senior year to follow... I had three of my five classes today and I can tell you that this is going to be an interesting semester. I was really looking forward to my Lit and Film class and after seeing all we are going to cover, I'm overwhelmed, but still excited. Here's what's to come:

I never really go by those solstices things that tell you when the seasons change because I have my own method. June=summer, September=autumn, December=winter and Spring happens whenever this New England weather decides to warm up. That could be between February and May. Seeing as today is the first of September, I would like to formally welcome you to Autumn. So speaking of summer and autumn, I thought it serendipitous that I would see a movie called 500 Days of Summer during the transition from summer to autumn. Especially since the whole movie was about serendipity. I loved the end but I bet I'm the 2% that did.

The Big Day

So today was insane. Chaos and mayhem everywhere. I was up at 4 am to go get coffee because I'm 116% sure I wouldn't have survived today with out it, then moving newbies in all day, till my floor meeting and first night... Phew! So glad that's over!! I haven't had a lot to photograph all with running around like a chicken with it's head cut off, but if you'd seen it, you would understand. So for now, I'll say check back later.

Tomorrow is the big day. Freshman will be coming tomorrow in the am and I'm excited!! It's empty here now but tomorrow we'll be back to the grind and there will be commotion and sound back on campus. I think that's how I know... reslifeeeeeeeeee
