Down With the Sickness

So I don't know how to describe today other than sick. And not the good sick. I spent the majority of my day in bed, but still accomplished a lot. I finished a course, and got a 95 on my final interview for my interviewing course. I was about to vomit on the poor girl I was interviewing Katherine Heigl style a la Knocked Up. After that I slept, watched Wendy Williams (How You Doin'??) and went to work. We learned how to close up our buildings for the year, which indicated that the year is officially OVER! I don't know weather to be excited or sad, because the plans I had fell through. I don't mean to be super pensive, but I don't know what this summer will bring, weather it be love or not. I know at least, that I will have a lot of fun, and that's what counts.

So this post is dedicated to Katherine Heigl, I don't know if you can tell if I'm a fan (chuckle) because this photo is what she sings in 27 Dresses. Benny and the Jets turned into Benny and the Baguettes. For your viewing pleasure!

SHRIMPPPP

I ended up going home on Sunday because it was my grandmothers birthday. I was so sick and I still am, so I've been pretty low key, spending my day in bed :)

Despite being sick, I still had a lot of fun!


My new favorite food since I'm no longer a vegetarian!


My brother and I yelled MEOW at each other all day long, and even got my two year old cousin in on it!


My father will most certainly kill me for posting this picture, but it's too awesome to pass up! He was trying on my cousins dress up play things and decided the tiara was the best choice. The highlight of going home was probably asking my parents if I could have one swear word to say this summer when I move back home. They begrudgingly granted my request to say PISS as I please when I am home this summer. For the rest of the day we yelled PISSSSS! It was most certainly fantastic.

Danielle's Day Off

So today was my day off, and I am thoroughly enjoying it! I've watched WAYY too much of The Hills, gotten coffee with my girlfriends, and eaten chicken wings. That's pretty much my favorite things right there!


Gourmet Coffee is the best coffee on the planet! I get coffee every morning at 8 am when I wake up. I don't know how things are going to be when I move back home, because there are no Gourmet Coffee's in Chelmsford/surrounding area. I know that I'll probably just make coffee at home like I did last summer, but I'll sorely miss the everyday Gourmet!

One of the best things about Fitchburg is the campus in spring. Fall is beautiful because all the leaves change, but nothing makes me smile like the trees growing leaves and the flowers blossoming. I've been meaning to take a picture of these tulips for a while now.


If Fitchburg cares about anything, it's how gorgeous it's campus looks and I love walking past the flowers and blooming trees. Can't wait to see how the flowers look at home!

Dance!

It probably doesn't help that I turned the song into the ringtone on my Iphone... My plan is to take that class as well. I want to get up to the advanced level before I graduate, that would be an accomplishment! There's more to come of course! Tomorrow we have another show, and once my friend give me my camera back I'll upload more pictures!

Cheesy Smiles!

The first dance show went off without a hitch yesterday and even though we had to change a lot around for costume changes, we made it work and the piece looks insane! Here's me and my BFF Ryanne right before we went on stage. Check in later for more pictures. I had my friend take a ton with my camera, but he still has it so he can give a few to a girl he likes. This photo basically describes us, me constantly trying to get Ryanne to do weird things, and in return she begrudgingly does them. Hence the weird faces.



I only took one class this year, but next semester I'm planning on taking a bunch. I've realized that I have tons of more free time since I'm single now and not overloading myself with as many academic classes. Now I can have time for school, time for Mara Village and time for me to unwind and dance all night. I'm just hoping this summer flies by so I can get back into dance!

Driving While Photoxicated

Lame title I know... but I was taking pictures while I was driving! I'm also working on a photo project that takes a picture of every "Welcome To..." sign in Massachusetts. I saw Lunenburg and I unfortch did not succeed in getting the shot. There's always another day!

Just Dance

As Lady Gaga would say, just dance. And thus begins the dance week from hell, proceeding up to my recital this thursday and saturday. I am really excited about it, but I also don't want to spend all night in the auditorium! Luckily this time around I have my good friend Ryanne to spend it with me! Look forward to more dancing pics, hopefully some of me!

Jellyfishing

So yesterday I went to Daka with a friend and I ate a grapefruit for breakfast. It was DELICIOUS! When I was done tearing out the fruit, it looked like this:

The dead jellyfish my brother discovered the last time we were down south visting my grandmother. He touched it. So nasty. But that's my jelly fish story!

I Come Home, She Lifted Up Her Wings

So in case of emergency, I always go home, and I ended up there Saturday night because of some unforeseen circumstances. Being home always makes me feel 1000x better, especially when things like this picture happen.




My mother only uses sea salt out of this container she has, and is so dainty that she has a salt spoon. I find this goofy... Perhaps because I am the same way.

Gleek

Didn't think I'd get the opportunity to call myself a Gleek because I'd missed the first season and it's not like me to sit around and watch television on surf the channel all day, but I am... haha. Glee is so addicting! I can't stop watching! Wheather is wayyy too dramatic Rachel, the love triangle... I mean, one of the main character's name is Quinifer!! It's pretty cool if your not cool. Like me! :)

Clean House!

I'm turning into my mom who is a clean freak! My room is always clean, and when my friend asked me to help me clean her room I jumped at the opportunity! Her room now looks like this. Nellified!

Traffic on the Chartwell's Turnpike!

It was pretty funny today at the dining hall today when everyone put all their trays on top of one another, causing a huge pile up of trays. Look out of the east turnpike of the Daka tray removal because of an accident on the exit to the dish washer. Haha lame but things like this make me feel sorry for the employees...

Hello!!

This isn't the first time I'm writing a blog, but it might be the first time I keep it. I want to do a photo a day for a whole year, so I can look back and click though 365 memories. I update daily on my facebook, but I might not as often here.
